Shubo Zhang is an undergraduate student in the Class of 2026 majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech. He works as a research assistant under Dr. Amanda Leong and Dr. Jinsuo Zhang. His current work, under the guidance of Dr. Ding Zhao, focuses on salt purification and compositional analysis. Shubo enjoys conducting lab research and finds fulfillment in solving technical problems through hands-on experimentation. Outside of academics, he is passionate about 3D printing and modifying cars.
