Logan McIlwain

Logan McIlwain is a senior at Virginia Tech pursuing Chemical Engineering with a minor in Nuclear Engineering. He works under the supervision of Amanda Leong and Jinsuo Zhang in the Nuclear Materials and Cycle Center.

Logan's research focuses on determining the vapor pressure of hydroxide salts using differential scanning calorimetry Additonally, he determines the concentration of hydroxide in molten salts through combustion analysis.
