Ridhita Borhan

Ridhita is pursuing a doctoral degree in Nuclear Engineering at Virginia Tech, working under the supervision of Dr. Zhang and Dr. Leong in the Nuclear Materials and Fuel Cycle center. She recently graduated with a Master's degree in Radiological Sciences and Protection from UMass Lowell.

Ridhita's current research work includes interaction analysis between graphite and molten fluoride fuel salt, as well as building a fabrication system for the salt infiltration tests. Beyond that, her research interests also incorporate radiochemistry and health physics.

When not in the lab, she enjoys exploring new places, food, books, and brushing up on radiation safety!
