Benjamin Hellmann

Benjamin Hellmann is a senior pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech and previously attained an Associate’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Germanna Community College. He is currently working with Timothy Lucey on Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) modelling of a salt purification system. When not engaged in academic pursuits Benjamin works as a manufacturing engineer in Salem, VA. With his limited free time, he enjoys getting out into the beautiful mountain wilderness; hiking, biking, and fishing as much as he can.
