Ben Passyn is a second-year Ph.D. student in Nuclear Engineering at Virginia Tech, where he also earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on investigating the thermophysical properties of fluoride fuel salts, including vapor pressure, specific heat capacity, density, and thermal conductivity. His work contributes to a better understanding of molten salt behavior and its potential applications in advanced nuclear energy systems.
