Cameron Deas

Cameron Deas graduated with a B.S. in Physics and a Minor in Astronomy in 2020 from Virginia Tech. He is currently pursuing Masters of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering under Dr. Jinsuo Zhang at the Center for Nuclear Materials and Fuel Cycle Research at Virginia Tech. His research project focuses on testing and implementation of a fiber-optic sensor for stress cracking of various metal alloys for use in lead-cooled fast reactors (LFR) .
